Canaan Valley, WV October 5-8, 2012
Canaan Valley in West Virginia is a beautiful destination in the Fall. I’m excited to return
once again leading a group through some of its most dramatic scenery. The foliage will be gorgeous. Water will be flowing through the many
waterfalls. The red heath barrens in the Dolly Sods Wilderness will be glowing. And with good fortune will have fog filling many of the
valleys below the Appalachian mountain ranges.
We’ll shoot very early each morning as well as late in the afternoon. We’ll break
when the light is high to review our images for composition and look at the possibilities to edit some to best advantage. Laptops are
encouraged for this part of the workshop.
The workshop is designed for a group of 8-9 people. It is assumed that everyone will
have a working knowledge of their camera and the ability to use Lightroom or Adobe Bridge to organize and share their pictures.
The workshop fee is $695 and includes all photography
activities. Additional charges, not included in the fee, would be transportation, lodging,
meals and items of a personal nature.
Rooms have been reserved at the Timberline Resort very near Canaan Valley State Park.
